Top cryptocurrency news today includes Huobi’s HT token price jump, Justin Sun’s involvement in the first nation-backed cryptocurrecy, and a slight rally in the cryptocurrency markets. At the same time as the wider markets rally, some crypto presales are gaining huge attention from investors as well, raising millions of dollars even in overall tepid market conditions. More on this below.

The HT token price has increased by 15% over the last day due to Huobi’s announcement that they will be airdropping the Dominica coin (DMC). This new digital token will be issued by the Caribbean island nation of Dominica and can be used to complete identity verification on Huobi with Dominica digital identification documents.

Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency markets recovered slightly from Monday’s mild downturn, with BTC trading up 1.4% to $16,466 on the day, ETH gaining 4.1% to $1,219, and most other crypto assets also in the green. The global crypto market cap sits at $834.82 billion, a 1.80% increase in the past 24 hours.

Despite most assets recovering from Monday’s dip, markets are still relatively subdued as traders are scrambling to figure out “which parts of the cryptoverse are about to break,” as Edward Moya, senior market analyst for foreign exchange market maker Oanda, put it today in a note to investors.

Bear markets are, however, considered a time to carefully choose a diverse portfolio of assets that are well-positioned for the next bull market and potentially think about buying in at attractive price points. Token presales are one such place investors can find well-priced tokens on the ground floor before they hit the market.

One must be careful to select top presale tokens that have a proven use case, proven investor backing, and top-notch development teams, however. Tokens to consider currently in presale that meet this criteria include D2T, TARO, IMPT, and RIA.

Dash 2 Trade (D2T)

No matter what the market is doing, Dash 2 Trade aims to help crypto investors take advantage with its sentiment tracking, data analysis, and strategy-building tools.

Some features that Dash 2 Trade will offer are:

  • Trading signals with buy/sell opportunities
  • Social sentiment and on-chain analysis to land trending coins
  • Strategy builder and social trading tools for easy adoption of new strategies
  • Bespoke scoring system to join crypto presales
  • Crypto listing alerts so you won’t miss a new listing announcement
  • Trading competitions

The D2T token is the key to all functions of the Dash 2 Trade platform. To date, D2T’s presale has collected $7.3 million and is now in stage 3 at 83% before it proceeds to its final stage 4 where the price per token will be raised to $0.0533.

The D2T presale dashboard beta will be released in the near future, and the website has recently been updated with new features, including screenshots of the dashboard, a competition matrix feature, and information about the leadership team.

RobotEra (TARO)

RobotEra is an expansive, immersive gaming platform combining play-to-earn gaming with NFT-based unique digital assets and metaverse world-building. Players take control of robot companions with a goal of rebuilding the destroyed planet of Taro using in-game tools requiring zero coding knowledge.

In RobotEra, players use $TARO to passively generate income through activities like quests, community events, and staking. They can also monetize their assets by selling billboard space or individual structures on the open market. Additionally, players can charge ticket admission to events, concerts, and museums within the game, as well as sell plots of land or individual structures.

Players will also be able to stake their tokens to vote on the future direction of RobotEra’s decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) as well as earn passive yield. In 2023, the project plans to integrate virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) into the game.

Since its presale launch, RobotEra has raised over a quarter of a million dollars.

IMPT (IMPT)

IMPT is an ERC-20 token that plans to change the way people contribute to climate change initiatives. It aids in the buying and selling of carbon credits, letting users support eco-sustainability projects globally. This will let companies with ESG (environment, social, and governance) friendly operations have easier access to funds and motivate their customers/users to back their company’s causes.

By shopping at participating affiliate companies, consumers can receive IMPT tokens as a rewards and trade them for carbon credits. These carbon credits can be traded on the blockchain 24/7/365. The company’s stand-alone platform has already garnered attention from over 25,000 potential affiliates, including big names such as Netflix and Microsoft.

IMPT’s presale campaign has so far garnered $13.3 million from investors, showing that it has the potential to succeed even in a bear market.

Calvaria (RIA)

Calvaria: Duels of Eternity is a Web3 game that merges non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with strategy in a simulated virtual universe. Players buy NFT trading cards and use them to concoct strategies and compete against one another.

RIA is the token for NFT purchases and trades in the game’s internal marketplace, while also giving governance power to holders for Calvaria’s decentralized autonomous organization (DAO). The digital asset can also be staked by those looking to earn some extra money passively.

The game’s presale has so far raised $2.1 million, causing developers to decide to end the presale early. The presale supply is dropping as well from 300 million tokens to just 150 million and only 30% of the tokens are left.
