The festive season is upon us and the tooth fairy is nowhere to be seen which means everyone’s sweet tooth will be out to play.quick Christmas and holidays treats ! no oven ! no flour ! no eggs ! they disappear in 1 minute ! - YouTube

Preparing festive treats can be a daunting task, especially for the culinary amateur trying to impress guests on Christmas.

But worry not because we’ve found delicious ingredients to prepare for you and your loved ones, and a recipe that does not require the usual suspects: eggs, flour or even opening your oven. This will surely blow their minds away.

Ingredients :

  • 350g of biscuits.
  • 2 tbsp of powdered sugar (15g).
  • 4 tbsp of cocoa powder (30g).
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter (80g).
  • 3/4 cup of milk (160ml), you may need up to 200ml depending on the biscuits you’ll be using.
  • 140g of milk chocolate. some chocolate sprinkles.

Preparation:

  • Place your biscuits into a blender and blend them until finely crushed
  • Pour the crushed biscuits into a bowl
  • Add the 2 tbsp of powdered sugar into the bowl with crushed biscuits
  • Add the 4 tbsp of cocoa powder into the bowl with crushed biscuits and powdered sugar
  • Mix the ingredients together until they’re fully immersed
  • Add 1/4 cup of melted butter to the mixture and stir until the mixture is fully combined
  • Gradually add milk to the mixture and use your hands to crush the lumps into place
  • The mixture must start feeling like wet beach sand but depending on the biscuits you used more milk might be needed
  • Your mixture should now start turning into a slime-like texture that can be manoeuvred in the palm of your hand
  • Place a sheet of parchment paper on the kitchen counter and place your slime cookie mixture onto the paper
  • Form the slime mixture into a long sausage-like structure before covering it with parchment paper by rolling it
  • Place the parchment paper-covered mixture into the fridge and chill for 2-3 hours
  • After the set time, remove the mixture from the fridge and parchment paper and proceed to cut it into desired serving sizes
  • Add the 140g of chocolate into a bowl and break smaller pieces
  • Dip your biscuit mixture halfway into the melted chocolate bowl
  • Add chocolate sprinkles on top of the dipped chocolate and wait for the melted chocolate to solidify
  • Once dried up, you can serve your loved ones and pretend to be the maestro chef that you and I both know still doesn’t exist 😀
